Yes there will be a considerable variety of food outlets selling delicious hot food.
There is no bar or alcohol for sale on site.
We highly recommend that public transport or normal city centre parking is used as this event will be extremely busy. A car park at St Bede’s Campus (Sunderland College) next to the Barnes Park has been made available with a charge of £5 per car. There are a limited amount of valid blue badge holder spaces in this car park which are provided free of charge.
Yes, there will be funfair rides and entertainment hosted by SUN FM’s Tim West. Don’t forget the fancy dress completion with great prizes for both children and adults!
All sales of tickets are final - no refunds for tickets already purchased are given.
All tickets are sold subject to these Terms and Conditions. Purchase and use of a ticket/s to enter the Event constitute acceptance of these Terms and Conditions on your behalf and on behalf of any person for whom you are purchasing tickets.
Tickets are not exchangeable, refundable or transferable. Resale or attempted resale is not allowed. You must bring a ticket to the gate to gain entry. Your ticket may be invalidated if any part of it is removed, defaced or altered. Tickets are not issued on a sale or return basis and refunds will not be made on returned tickets. Even if you have proof of purchase, lost or stolen tickets will not be replaced or reissued. Your ticket is your responsibility. Ownership or possession of a ticket does not confer any rights (by implication or otherwise) on you to use, alter, copy or otherwise deal with any symbols, trademarks, logos and/or intellectual property appearing on the ticket.
This is an outdoor event; no refunds will be given due to inclement weather. Please be aware that although the event area is generally flat, it is a field and if the weather is poor certain areas may be muddy and uneven, please take care when walking and attend in suitable attire. You acknowledge that you enter the event and venue at your own risk.
During the event, visitors must remain within the designated boundaries and follow official directions by signage, event staff or security. The event organisers reserve the right to refuse admission or to eject a ticket holder for behaviour likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance or annoyance or for failure to comply with reasonable requests. Intoxication, aggressive or anti-social behaviour is unacceptable and will result in ejection from the venue. Those ejected from the venue will not be re-admitted to the event and tickets will not be refunded. By entering the event, you consent to being filmed and photographed during the event. Footage or images may be reproduced, published and exploited by the organiser without restriction including but not limited to marketing and promotional use and in all media.
Gates open at 5.00pm. Fireworks at approximately 7.45pm.
There are no refunds under any circumstances. If the event is cancelled then replacement tickets will be issued for a future event.
